Obituary for Antonius "Tony" Wolfkamp
ANTONIUS "TONY" HENRICUS WOLFKAMP
Antonius "Tony" Wolfkamp, 69, of Mitchell passed away at home in the late evening of Thursday, March 1, 2018.
Shirley's husband for 47 years and proud father of Marsha Mathers (Dan), Mark Wolfkamp (Lisa) and Randy Wolfkamp. He will be missed by his brothers and sisters: John (Karen), Betty (Sam), Anette (Mike), Lida (Dennis), Carla (Tom) and Mike (Penny). Predeceased by parents Henry and Clara Wolfkamp and an infant daughter, Amanda. Survived by brother-in-law Ron Harris (Louise) and sister-in-law Vickie Broome (Larry). Sadly missed by granddaughters Danica and Amelia, step granddaughters Julia and Kiera and Della and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Tony was adored by his family. Shirley, his children and grandchildren were his whole world. He loved his friends and community and could often be found volunteering, spending time with friends at the Legion or on the front porch sharing a wave, a conversation and a drink. If you had the chance to get to know him, you were better off for it.
A private family service will be held. As an expression of thanks for Tony's life, there will be an informal gathering at the Mitchell Legion (Branch 128), 175 St. Andrew Street, on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 2:00 pm, for family, friends and neighbours to share in fellowship and remembrance.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Mitchell Legion or a charity of one's choice may be made at LockhartFuneralHome.com
